Biomedical research driven by Balkans' SMEs in relaunching the Lisbon Strategy
On the occasion of the conference "Balkan medicine towards FP7", taking place in Bucharest on 3-5 May 2005, an event dedicated to SMEs under the "Health" theme is planned on 3 May 2006, namely "Biomedical research driven by Balkans' SMEs in relaunching the Lisbon Strategy".
In the organisation of this specific event for SMEs are involved: the Ministry of Education and Research -the National Authority for Scientific Research (Romanian Contact Point for SMEs), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest, the Romanian IRC4D / IPA CIFATT Craiova Technology and Business Incubator, and the National Institute for SMEs.
In the generous context of the Regional Conference which aims to bring together scientists and other stakeholders from the Balkan region and from other European Countries, the representatives of SMEs will find real opportunities for integration in European projects under the "Health" theme of FP7. With represenatives from the European Commission, the role of Balkans´ SMEs and the improvement of their participation in FP7 will be discussed.

Course - Internal auditor for environment management systems according with ISO 9001/2001 and ISO 19011/2003 requirements
Object of the course: Training the organizations for transposing the ISO 9001:2001 and ISO 19011:2003 requirements in practice. Participation in Euro-Syrian Contact Days in Aleppo, Syria
The event is organized in cooperation with Euro Info Centre Syria SY791, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Syria, The Syrian-European Business Centre, the Ministry of Tourism from Syria and The Federation of Tourism Chambers from Syria and is part of the project ESCD5, Sincerely Syria initiative. The aim of the project is to encourage the cooperation relations between tourism agencies from Syria and those on the European and Mediterranean space.

The course Modalities in accessing EU structural and cohesion funds from contracting authorities, companies and NGOs
Object of the course: It provides basic knowledge about structural and cohesion funds and their objectives, the regulations for accessing this funds; the funds that can be directly accessed from the EU, the area of intervention for structural and cohesion funds; co-financing for the projects eligible for obtaining money from structural and cohesion funds; eligibility criteria; activities and costs, etc
