
The International Investment Forum IIF2006 organized annually by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania reaches its sixth edition this year. The Forum will analyze the processes that influence directly the investment potential and the business climate in Romania.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania is interested in the impact these changes have upon the foreign direct investment in our country, therefore this year’s theme is Romania’s Accession to the European Union – Opportunities and Constraints for Direct Investment.
The event will focus on the experience of the countries that have recently joint the European Union and the situation of the countries from Central and South East Europe towards attraction of the foreign investment and spending the European structural funds.
As for Romania’s experience, the forum will present the most important investment projects at the Exhibition of investment projects that covers several fields of activity. The conferences during the Forum will debate on the potential for investment Romania has in several priority sectors: real estate, banking, infrastructure, IT&C and energy.
The Forum will hold together debates concerning the latest FDI trends in Romania in the context of the European accession, an Exhibition of Investment projects and urban development, Matchmaking meetings for B2B and investment, and the Gala - Investor of the Year.
